Smokey rooms, smooth jazz, dancing, and cocktails? Don’t mind if we do!

This past weekend, Amazon Prime brought the prohibition era back to life while promoting its new mini-series, Z: The Beginning of Everything. While hosting numerous events throughout Los Angeles and New York City, the e-commerce giant invited guests to Hollywood and NYC’s most elite venues: No Vacancy, Pour Vous, Backroom, and Raines Law Room all of which, are immersed in the atmosphere of a 1920’s speakeasy.

Guests piled into the small, sultry rooms to experience what it must be like to step into a time machine. The moment they stepped through the door, bartenders dressed in classic 1920’s attire greeted them with a cocktail as they made their way into the past.

Just like the their newly released mini-series, following the life of Zelda Fitzgerald, this weekend’s events transported influencers, press, and fans alike back into the 20th century for the evening. Guests enjoyed 1920’s inspired cocktails and mingled with actors dressed in costume while getting a sneak peak at the series before its release. Attendees got the chance to replicate 1920’s mug shots in photo booths throughout the night and even walked away with a complimentary branded flask.

Both the event in Manhattan and Hollywood allowed guests the chance to enjoy a night of jazz music, dancing, and drinks all while getting to sway back into the jazz age themselves. The event left everyone buzzing about the series that premiered January 27th.

The events were a huge success and received buzz from many notable publications including Eater NY and Fortune.
