Walker & Co. Brands make health & beauty simple for people of color. It is an innovative, forward-thinking, relatable and mainstream company that wanted to break the mold of traditional CPG brands and bring high quality products to an underserved and over indexed demographic.
The initial product we launched for Tristan Walker, founder of Walker & Co., was Bevel, the first end to end shaving system specifically made to make shaving simple and enjoyable again for men who suffer from razor bumps and burn.
With the launch of Walker & Co., our goal was to help Tristan draw on the void that the brand fills in the marketplace, the innovative design and quality of the products and the unique needs of the African American consumer.
We partnered with Walker & Co. to help build the brand’s identity and awareness with a comprehensive media relations, influencer outreach and launch execution strategy. With an approach that crossed all platforms of media relations, we were able to accomplish the following:
- Raised brand recognition and sales of Walker & Co. through a comprehensive media strategy in key retail markets via regional and national media
- Strengthened perception of Tristan Walker as an influential, successful, savvy, authentic and disruptive businessman
- Affirmed and differentiated the brand from its competitors as the definitive African American go-to grooming brand
