The Challenge

Apostle was looking for a nimble agency who knew how to take the reins on strategy for a startup  but also had extensive experience in planning and executing successful product launches for legacy brands. The in-house team needed to feel like their agency was an extension of their brand and a true thought partner to cement messaging for the startup. Given society’s reluctance to men’s makeup products, our team had to develop a strategy that addressed gender sensitivities while also maximizing exposure. Our team developed a comprehensive PR roadmap and implemented our signature Immerse, Ideate and Impact strategy.

Securing over 40 million media impressions, The Brand Agency landed digital and print inclusions in top beauty trade outlets, such as Beauty Independent, Glossy, and WWD, and locked in coverage from Tier-1 men’s outlets, such as Esquire and British GQ. The Brand Agency also seeded product to celebrities such as Mario Lopez and Liam Payne, in addition to target macro influencers such as Josh Richards, Leo Skepi, and Brendan Fallis.
