The Challenge

Crowning a Latina with a Creative Director title is seminal in fashion. Few of these appointments exist and our team was tasked with developing a PR, Corporate Communications and Influencer strategy that reflected the specialness of this moment. Working closely with Becky G and Gonza executives as well as CAA, The Brand Agency developed a PR roadmap that included creative ideas and traditional PR as levers. We decided to seed an exclusive to the most respected women’s fashion trade, WWD and orchestrated a launch event to celebrate the iconic moment.

The Brand Agency secured over 6,743,465,000 media impressions. Our agency also secured attendance from Tier 1 media outlets in both general market and multicultural: Forbes, Los Angeles Times, and Univision. Through our network, the agency was also able to secure high-count influencer guests for the event organically, among them Desi Perkins (5m+ followers).
