The Challenge
Hulu brought their most notable animated series to life with an immersive 2D-like experience at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. The Brand Agency was tasked with promoting Hulu’s presence to trade, consumer, entertainment, and niche outlets, as well as running a press preview event & scheduling press appointments throughout SDCC. The ultimate goal was to drive foot traffic, social buzz and traditional press coverage to the activation and thus Hulu’s animated vertical.

The Brand Agency secured over 4,620,284,200 digital media impressions and over 28,298,136 social impressions as a result of our efforts. Highlights include a standalone story on marquee marketing outlet, AdWeek, and coverage in notable publications such as Variety, Collider, Los Angeles Times, Gizmodo and local outlets including ABC 10 San Diego, Fox 5 San Diego, The San Diego Union Tribune and more. Lastly, we secured social coverage from our press attendees at The Hollywood Reporter, IMDB, Inverse, Deadline, and more.
