Petcube’s

Prime Day

The Challenge

After working with The Brand Agency for Prime Day in July 2022, Petcube reached out once Amazon announced that they would be having a second Prime Day event for the very first time in October 2022. Similar to before, Petcube was looking to gain publicity around their portfolio of pet devices with the ultimate goal of  increasing online revenue. The Brand Agency was tasked with amplifying Petcube’s presence in the media during the weeks leading up to the sale, as well as placing Petcube on top-tier consumer outlets that guarantee  visibility throughout the event.

OVER 12.3 BILLION MEDIA IMPRESSIONS

The Brand Agency utilized their established relationships with media contacts from the previous Prime Day project to initiate quick and effective PR activity ahead of the sale. Additionally, the team built upon their previous rolodex with new contacts to increase Petcube’s publicity even more this time around. TBA reached out to top-tier consumer outlets to secure coverage in Prime Day roundups and shopping guides,  while also coordinating the shipment of samples to editors who were interested in trying out a device in exchange for coverage.

As a result of our pitching efforts, The Brand Agency was able to secure both feature and roundup coverage for Petcube in top-tier outlets including BuzzFeed, People, CNN Underscored, WIRED and Mashable, as well as pet-specific outlets such as Pets Radar. Rolling Stone also featured Petcube in their Prime Day livestream on Twitch during the sale.
