the challenge

Super Bowl weekend is one of the biggest weekends in sports and entertainment. Talent Resources Sports brought back Sports Illustrated for their heritage event for Super Bowl Weekend and curated their own events taking place at the Sheats Goldstein Residence. The Brand Agency was tasked with publicizing the activation both before and after the event, as well as Talent Resources Sports as a whole spotlighting their involvement in multiple projects taking place over the weekend and positioning TRS CEOs David Spencer and Mike Heller as the experts behind these operations.

OVER 5.7 BILLION MEDIA IMPRESSIONS

The Brand Agency put together a comprehensive PR roadmap in order to generate buzz and excitement leading up to the event, which began with cultivated outreach. Our team conducted outreach to marquee business, entertainment, music, marketing trade and regional publications including broadcast to both invite them to the event and lock in press coverage. Before the event hit go, our team worked to secure pre-interview stories for David and Mike to participate in such as KTLA, Spectrum 1 News, Men’s Journal, Entrepreneur, LA Magazine and more to continue excitement and momentum.

As a result of our efforts, The Brand Agency was able to secure press placements in top tier outlets in the business, entertainment, and marketing publications, including USA Today, KTLA, Men’s Journal, LA Times (print and online), LA Magazine Spectrum 1 News and more, as well as secured a reporter from the LA Times to come by Talent Resources Sports Super Bowl watch party for an exclusive feature.
