The Challenge

To celebrate the launch of their latest collection and recent announcement of their new Global Ambassador, Evan Mock, Maui Jim hosted a cocktail party at the iconic Chelsea Factory in NYC. Upon arrival, attendees were transported to the tropics as they enjoyed themed cocktails, great views, and dj spins by Evan. The Brand Agency was tasked with securing media and influencer attendees and organic coverage from top-tier media outlets to share the news of the Collection ‘Ekahi and of the event itself.

The Brand Agency implemented our signature three-pronged event strategy, driving visibility for Maui Jim’s event before, during and after the festivities. Prior to the event, we worked with press at leading luxury fashion and celebrity entertainment outlets, and top converting influencers, to announce the news of the Collection ‘Ekahi for any upcoming opportunities and coverage. We also tapped into our vast network to invite them to come meet the brand and experience the collection first-hand in New York City. This strategy resulted in The Brand Agency securing over 150 attendees at top tier media outlets such as ELLE, VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar, Complex as well as top KOLS and influencers including Dani + Alix (20.2K Followers), Katya Tolstova (490K Followers), Tess Christine (666K Followers) and more. Post-event, The Brand Agency’s pitching efforts resulted in over 3.7B + media impressions on outlets like HYPEBEAST, Numero Netherlands, People Magazine, Page Six to name a few. Additionally, The Brand Agency secured over 7.5M+ organic social impressions throughout the evening from secured attendees.
