The challenge

Started by a group of top tier celebrities, Ladder aimed to become a bonafide nutrition company and wellness platform. Although names like Lebron James, Cindy Crawford, Lindsey Vonn and Arnold Schwarzenegger accompanied the brand, they rarely made themselves available for interview or press opportunities so our agency had to find other creative ways to make Ladder visible to the media

Data-driven Results

Our team used outside the box thinking to break through an already cluttered nutrition space. We had to think of press angles that didn’t involve the talent to push the messaging through and kick off sales. Our team also canvassed outlets that targeted various demographics (women, sports, business) in order to make sure a large swath of would-be customers were targeted.

Our team leveraged the company’s nutrition advisor to meet with editors in New York and impart bespoke nutritional knowledge. We also worked with micro influencers like Angela Manuel Davis and arranged SoulCycle rides at her studio for press and influencers. The team tapped into seasonal trends to provide a regular cadence of press hits. The results were increased sales and placements in all major publications that spoke to the target demographic.
