The Challenge
ESPN hosted an athletes lounge at The Pendry Hotel to celebrate the annual ESPYs awards. Looking to welcome Los Angeles-based influencers in the sports industry and surrounding genres, The Brand Agency was tasked with securing key names to attend the gifting lounge and join in on the celebration of this years top athletes and sports performances. The ultimate goal was to generate buzz for both the lounge, its sponsors and the 2023 ESPYs Awards.

The Brand Agency worked quickly to curate a specialized list of influencers that aligned with the ESPN brand. Once approved, we began reaching out and securing influencers to attend as well as post organically from the event, showcasing the space and the gifts they received at the lounge.
As a result of our extensive efforts, The Brand Agency secured attendance from 22 influencers and obtained organic social media coverage from each of the influencers. This included top tier influencers with millions of followers, who promoted the gifting lounge and the sponsored gifts to their audiences. In total, over 9,620,170 followers were reached, amplifying ESPN and the ESPYs to a wider audience and allowing it to gain invaluable exposure.
