Ahead of the series debut, Hulu brought their “Welcome to Chippendales” series to life for fans in West Hollywood at the iconic Rocco’s nightclub. The Brand Agency was tasked with securing press before, during and after the event weekend, as well as inviting local press and influencers to the VIP preview.

The Brand Agency worked quickly to put together a PR plan that mapped back to the streaming hub’s goals. Our team made sure to find a partner to launch the exclusive news of the experience that would not only capture the attention of the target audience, but also those that might not have had a touchpoint with the title quite yet. From there, we pitched widely to national and local press/ broadcast to cover to bring awareness to their audiences, and simultaneously, invite them to the preview along with our curated list of influencers.
Because of our efforts, we were able to secure exclusive coverage with entertainment publication Collider, as well as press hits with Thrillist and major LGBTQ+ outlet Out Traveler. Locally, our team was able to lock in coverage from Los Angeles Magazine, WeHo Times, Uncover LA, Beverly Press (digital and print), ABC 7’s On the Red Carpet and many more.
For our preview, we confirmed a number of top tier attendees such as USA Today, The Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone, PEOPLE and E! News, to name a few, as well as influencers LA-based influencers @IAmDavante (7.3M Followers), @carlylawrence_ (1.1M Followers), @becccamooore (993K Followers) and @telliswift (1.4M Followers).
