The Challenge

To promote their Original Show, Black Cake, Hulu partnered with Barnes & Noble to offer fans of the novel a first look at the series through exclusive screener access. Hulu was also bringing Black Cake to bakeries across the United States by getting the dessert onto their shelves. The Brand Agency was tasked with bringing nationwide attention to these partnerships to stir up buzz and excitement for the series’ launch.

Data-driven Results

​Our efforts concluded with over 1.4 billion media impressions and coverage in various entertainment outlets like Collider, TODAY, and Business Insider. The Brand Agency was also able to reach audiences via food-focused magazines such as Taste of Home, Southern Kitchen and many more, as well as local audiences across the United States.
