Before the debut of the brand-new original comedy series Harlem, Amazon Prime Video tapped The Brand Agency to assist in the amplification and invites of their in-person activation, called Harlem Ever After. Celebrating the upcoming show in the heart of the borough, Prime Video partnered with local businesses, artists and fashion designers to bring this one-of-a-kind event to life, while bringing awareness to the community of Harlem. The Brand Agency was tasked with securing top tier fashion, beauty, multicultural and entertainment press attendees to the event preview, as well as landing press on the community event ahead of its debut.

The Brand Agency put together a comprehensive PR roadmap in order to jumpstart our initial plans with the streaming hub, which began with cultivating targeted outreach. Our team conducted outreach to marquee fashion, entertainment, multicultural and beauty outlets, regional broadcast, to both invite them to the event and lock in coverage. Before the event hit go, our team secured an exclusive with Variety to introduce the experiential activation, including an interview with the Global CMO of Prime Video and Amazon Studios Ukonwa Ojo.
As a result of our efforts, The Brand Agency was able to secure press placements in top tier outlets in the entertainment, marketing, multicultural and fashion categories, such as Variety, WWD, Oprah Daily, The Knockturnal, BizBash and more, as well as secured top tier press attendees such as Byrdie, Seventeen, Essence, Madame Noire, The Shade Room and Oprah Daily.
