The challenge
NYDJ unveiled their Labor Day Sale on their website, featuring an enticing 25% off discount on all denim items, running from August 31st to September 5th, accessible through the use of a unique code “LDJEANS.” The Brand Agency was tasked with elevating the brand’s visibility during this event through strategic affiliate partnership outreach. Understanding how competitive the shopping space is during Labor Day sales, The Brand Agency suggested offering key publications a larger percentage of commissions during this time to ensure ample coverage. Once the commission offerings were set, we tapped into our extensive network of commerce and fashion writers to share NYDJ’s commission offerings to initiate conversations around including the brand in their coverage plans around the sale.
Data-driven Results
As a direct result of our outreach efforts and targeted research, NYDJ received over 18K in sales from the DotDash Meredith affiliate links. This is just a sliver of their sales from the placements we secured. The Brand Agency secured over 8 billion media impressions and $7.12 million in estimated media value with nine press placements in outlets including WWD, CNN, People Magazine, Page Six, TODAY, Yahoo! News, MSN, and a dedicated sales feature for InStyle.
